. Fluted bonnet, finned rear wings, hooded headlamps, dished safety-type steering wheel. Additional body trim added to saloon at chassis 270007 to facilitate optional extra Duotone finishes in five combinations.

Optional extras included selective automatic two-pedal control.

The Series III Traveller was superceded in 1957 by the Series IV version which did not have the wood trim of the earlier version.
