The Morris Major was not produced for the 1934 season and in its place the Cowley Six appeared-for a single season only. Following the design of the Cowley Four of 1934, the new model had a reinforced cruciform frame based on the Major dimensions of 8ft 10in. wheelbase and 4ft. 4in. track. Two body types were available, the Saloon (fixed head or sliding head option) and the Special Coupe.
