Overhead valved engine version replacing the previous Series II side-valve model.New single-colour presentation with Easiclean wheels matching the body finish and a painted radiator shell. Sliding head Saloon model only.

External boot lid and new sliding roof well cover after chassis 60573.

The Series III Fourteen-Six was not reintroduced after the war.
