Click picture to enlargeThe only two seater ohc engined car produced by Morris was the Semi-sports model. This model was produced only in the 1931 model year (late 1930 - 1931).  It has a fabric body and is similar to the MG Midget produced at the same time. This picture was taken on the Brooklands banking during a VSCC event.

To achieve this price the radiator and windscreen were painted rather than plated and the side lights were incorporated into the headlamps. The side valve engine was also an economy measure but some models of the Minor continued with the ohc engine until 1932. This example is shown at the top of the Brooklands test hill which is a gradient of 1 in 4 at its steepest part.
