A lot of research involved in tracing
a car can now be carried out on the web. The
DVLA offer a service for registration numbers of cars
on their database. To use it click on the link and go to the Vehicle
Enquiry link on the left hand side. Enter the number and make but
be aware that the database can have a novel interpretation of "make"
as one Morris is entered under "Morris Series 2" and a
search on Morris does not find it.
