Roger is one of the founding
members of the Alliance and is its current webmaster having
run his own website devoted to Morris cars since 1999 and
was until recently the webmaster for the Morris Register.
He currently has 7 Morris cars ranging from a 1934 Minor two
seater tourer which is his everyday car to a 1973 Morris 2200
which is his towing vehicle.
His particular interests are
the early side valve Minor and motor sports which explains
the Brooklands connection as he is also interested in motorcycles
and still owns four of the five that he has ever owned.
Mike
Kent
Mike is a long standing Morris
enthusiast and has a 1934 Cowley Four which has been in his
family since 1959 when it was bought from the first owner.
He is also an avid collector of literature and has all of
the Owner's Manuals for the 1934 models with the exception
of the Twentyfive as well as a range of literature.
With only one Morris he spends
a lot of time on his wonderful collection of '20s lawnmowers
which partly explains the entry in the wiki on the ATCO as
well as period music complete with wind up gramophone. Picnics
with Mike on a sunny day are something different.
John
Hagger
John has now
given up driving his Morris Eight after 40 years but still
has a wonderful collection of photographs of Morrises taken
in the '50s and '60s which he is proud to have displayed in
the Nostalgia section of the website. He is very happy to
make copies available to anyone interested in a wide range
of images from the '20s some of which are also in the same
section.
Alec
Fry
Alec sold his
Eight tourer a few years ago but his website was so well researched
and used that it was hosted on another site when his original
host discontinued it. He now has only a very few spares left
so don't worry if you can't contact him about items on his
spares page.
Michael
Taylor
Michael
has a truly encyclopaedic knowledge of Morris cars in addition
to a wonderful collection of photographs and brochures that
he has acquired over very many years. The Alliance is fortunate
that he wishes the information to be availabel to as many
enthusiasts as possible so he has agreed for them to be displayed
on the website.
Chris
Healey
Chris owns
what is widely regarded as one of the most original pre-series
Morris 10/4s as well as an early side valve Minor. He promises
to provide some more support when he is settled into his new
house.
